Thus ending a record dry spell since late May or June—depending on if you count the “mist” we had a few weeks back or if you’re a stickler who goes by the official rain gauge at Sea-Tac Airport. But in the Sorry Garden, it is indisputably raining by anyone’s standard.
Check back with me in six months when it hasn’t stopped yet, and see how I feel about it then. But for now, it’s glorious!
I hear you!
Rain glorious rain, we are finally getting our share of it also. Long live the rain forest.

Now it’s my turn to be sorry: we must have had all your rain. I’d be glad to return some of it to you, if you could find a way to turn back the clock. You could’ve come up and lassoed a cloud or two, or grabbed one by its fork of lightning. We had more than enough to go around.
Purple petals plumped with pleasure. Perfect!
Clever, Lornet. You must’ve read my last post closely.
No rain on my petals, just beetles !
If I have anything going for me, at least I don’t have beetles.
