See? Do not doubt the orange daylilies when they say it’s time to roll.
Every year, this lavender crocus blooms smack-dab in the busiest spot in our yard, where once there was a flowerbed before the remodel bulldozers. And, really, after surviving heavy equipment, what threat are a few clumsy human and dog feet?
Ma Bell waits with anticipation every year for me to send a photo of this little crocus to reassure her that spring is coming. I thought maybe the rest of you could use a little reassurance, too.
I have renewed Hope. Thanks I needed that today. Cold and snow on the ground.
That is just precious !
It’s coming, it’s here! Well soon, right?
Jen
Amazing things crocus. I love seeing them come up through the lawns around old houses. I have some the same color coming up through the lawn now.
I don’t have them in my garden. I used to have them when we lived in Kansas City. They never failed, such little tough guys. I hope you feel better now. It was nice to see that NWFGS is alive. Do you remember, last year everyone was talking about its fate?
