Mr. Sorry thinks it’s tricky to ask you to identify these buds. But Mr. Sorry, despite his many lovable attributes, is not a gardener. I bet him 20 bucks that someone identifies the buds within 30 minutes of this post going live. I even agreed to wait until low-traffic Monday to publish. I mean, I want his 20 bucks, but I don’t want to STEAL his 20 bucks.

Mr. Sorry also thinks that if I’m going to subject you to a guessing game, that there should be a prize. My first thought was a nice set of professional cookware, but then I realized that Mr. Sorry and I don’t even own a nice set of professional cookware … so that’s not the prize.

Instead, the first person to correctly name all three buds gets a root-bound plant from one of the many nursery pots standing around the Sorry Garden all winter. I know. Thrilling. It’s like the contest you really DON’T want to win.
And, since I can’t ship plants out of the country, the “winner” must be from the United States.
